Ant Group, an Alibaba affiliate, reported increased usage for its consumer AI platforms during the 2026 Chinese New Year. Alipay AI Pay and the AQ health app both surpassed 100 million users. Alipay AI Pay reached this milestone on February 23. It is the first AI-native payment product to reach this scale. Holiday transactions for everyday purchases drove the growth.
The AQ health app is now the world’s largest AI-native health application. The app saw high adoption in smaller Chinese cities. AQ integrates with Alibaba Group’s Qwen app and other hardware. This integration demonstrates synergy within the Alibaba ecosystem.
