Bank of America launched its Critical Infrastructure Finance Initiative on Wednesday to deploy $250 billion toward U.S. projects.

The bank will provide capital through direct lending, underwriting, investments, and advisory services.

Targeted sectors include digital infrastructure for data centers, renewable energy generation, and core transportation networks.

The initiative aims to strengthen U.S. economic competitiveness amid surging demand for artificial intelligence and energy resources.

This move follows similar large-scale infrastructure investment pledges from rivals JPMorgan and Morgan Stanley.
