BGC Group Inc. launched Fenics AI, its proprietary artificial intelligence trading technology.
Subsidiary Aurel BGC completed the first fully AI-brokered institutional trade in listed equity derivatives on September 3, 2026. The transaction involved Eurex-listed Swiss SMI options between two institutional accounts. Hudson Bay Capital participated as one of the institutional counterparties.
Fenics AI managed the entire trading workflow from price discovery through to execution. The technology automates routine execution tasks to allow brokers to prioritize client service. BGC will roll out the technology to its broader client base in the fourth quarter of 2026.
