Booking Holdings appointed Peer Bueller as the new CEO of KAYAK, effective February 6, 2026. Bueller is an internal promotion. He served as KAYAK's Chief Financial Officer since 2016 and Chief Operating Officer since 2021. In these roles, he focused on expansion and business growth.
Steve Hafner, KAYAK co-founder and CEO for 22 years, is transitioning roles. He will serve as Executive Chair for the subsidiary. Hafner also assumes a new leadership position at the parent company, Booking Holdings. There, he will concentrate on advancing artificial intelligence innovation to support long-term goals.
