Bristol Myers Squibb announced positive results for two multiple myeloma treatments at the European Hematology Association (EHA) 2026 Congress.
The Phase III SUCCESSOR-2 trial showed oral mezigdomide reduced the risk of disease progression or death by 52%. Mezigdomide extended median progression-free survival to 18 months. Standard care alone resulted in 8.3 months of progression-free survival.
Phase I results for arlocabtagene autoleucel (arlo-cel) demonstrated a 96% overall response rate. This CAR T-cell therapy maintained a manageable safety profile in relapsed or refractory patients. These findings bolster the company's key hematology franchise.
