Bank of Nova Scotia, Sun Life, and Telus formed an AI Consortium in partnership with technology firm Lightworks. The group pools resources to develop shared artificial intelligence capabilities and infrastructure for large, regulated institutions.

The consortium released its first product, the Agentic Control Plane. This tool manages regulatory compliance and maintains operational control during enterprise-scale AI deployment.
