Investors filed a class-action lawsuit against Black Rock Coffee Bar, Inc. The suit represents shareholders who purchased stock between September 12, 2025, and May 12, 2026.

The complaint alleges the company failed to disclose that new store openings were cannibalizing existing sales. This phenomenon is referred to as sales transfer.

The filing follows first-quarter 2026 financial results that missed revenue estimates. Same-store sales growth also declined during the period. Black Rock’s stock price fell over 30% following the May announcement. The lawsuit brings fresh negative attention to the company’s financial performance.
