Data security firm Cyera has raised $400 million in a Series F funding round, bringing its total valuation to $9 billion. This triples the company's valuation from one year ago and comes just six months after a previous round valued it at $6 billion. The new funding was led by Blackstone, with participation from existing investors including Accel, Sequoia Capital, Coatue, and Lightspeed Venture Partners.
The investment underscores intense investor interest in securing AI systems as their adoption in enterprise environments accelerates. Cyera's AI-native platform helps companies discover and protect sensitive data across various environments. The company plans to use the capital to advance product innovation, expand its global presence, and hire more talent.
