Chimeric Therapeutics (ASX:CHM) released interim Phase 1 results for its CHM CDH17 CAR-T therapy targeting gastrointestinal cancers. Two of four patients at the highest dose level achieved tumor shrinkage between 17% and 40% in specific lesions. These patients maintained stable disease for six and four months, respectively.

The trial evaluates safety and efficacy in patients with advanced colorectal, gastric, and neuroendocrine tumors who have exhausted other treatment options. Management reported a manageable safety profile with no new signals since a toxicity event in May 2026.

Four patients have received the top dose, and manufacturing is complete for a fifth participant. The company expects to dose the sixth and final patient by the end of 2026, pending additional funding.
