Cisco Investments has made a strategic investment in Zafran Security, a specialist in AI-native Continuous Threat Exposure Management. The undisclosed amount serves as an extension of Zafran’s previously announced $130 million funding round.

Zafran’s platform unifies an organization’s existing security tools to identify and mitigate attack paths before exploitation. This move bolsters Cisco’s security portfolio as the industry grapples with the increased speed and sophistication of AI-powered attacks.

The investment follows Cisco doubling its full-year guidance for AI-related orders to over $4 billion. Analysts remain focused on whether these significant AI commitments can drive the company’s total revenue growth.
