Caledonia Mining Corporation identified a significant new zone of near-surface gold mineralization at the Blanket Mine in Zimbabwe. This previously unknown horizon contains both oxide and sulphide mineralization.

The discovery represents a potential new orebody separate from existing underground operations. Preliminary metallurgical tests indicate the oxide material is suitable for low-cost heap leaching.

The company plans to launch a trial heap leaching operation in the second half of 2026. An updated resource statement for the Blanket Mine is scheduled for publication in August 2026.
