Critical Metals Corp. and its consortium, Mrima Earth Limited, have been selected as one of three finalists for the Mrima Hill project tender in Kenya. The site is considered one of the world's most significant undeveloped deposits of rare earth elements and niobium.
The project’s coastal location provides direct access to the Port of Mombasa for future logistics. Rare earth elements are currently in high demand for use in electric vehicles, wind turbines, and defense systems.
This development supports Critical Metals’ strategy to establish a Western-aligned supply chain. The Kenyan asset would complement the company's existing Tanbreez project in Greenland.
