CoreWeave announced a multi-year strategic partnership with AI company Perplexity. Perplexity will utilize CoreWeave’s cloud platform to support its AI inference workloads. The agreement provides Perplexity with dedicated NVIDIA GB200 NVL72-powered clusters.
The partnership includes a reciprocal arrangement for internal software. CoreWeave will integrate the Perplexity Enterprise Max platform across its own organization. This deployment enables CoreWeave employees to utilize Perplexity’s AI models and research capabilities.
The announcement follows a period of stock volatility for CoreWeave after its late February earnings report. While the company reported strong revenue growth, it also disclosed widening losses and significant capital expenditure plans. Securing Perplexity as a customer provides a positive signal regarding CoreWeave’s competitive position in the AI ecosystem.
