Cisco and World Wide Technology (WWT) secured a $230 million U.S. Army contract around July 7. The 12-month Global Enterprise Modernization Software and Services (GEMSS) 2.1 agreement modernizes the Army's IT infrastructure. This deal consolidates approximately 30 separate Cisco enterprise agreements into a single solution. The contract covers software, services, and asset management across the Army's global operations.

Separately, Cisco partnered with the College Board to launch a new AP Cybersecurity course on July 2. The Cisco Networking Academy delivers this industry-aligned curriculum to high school students. This initiative provides hands-on experience to expand the cybersecurity talent pipeline.
