Contango Silver and Gold Inc. released final assay results from its initial 2025-2026 drilling program at the Lucky Shot project in Alaska.
The program yielded a bonanza-grade intercept of 972.10 grams per tonne gold over 0.17 meters. Drilling identified several other high-grade intercepts containing visible gold. The initial phase comprised 65 drill holes totaling approximately 6,020 meters.
These results conclude the first stage of a broader 18,000-meter exploration campaign. The company aims to advance the project toward a formal feasibility study.
Contango resumed underground development work at the site following the successful drilling. The next phase focuses on establishing new access and drill platforms to explore the vein system.
