Delta Air Lines launched two new seasonal, weekly flights to the Cayman Islands on December 20, 2025. These nonstop services enhance connectivity for holiday travelers.
The new routes connect Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) and New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) with Grand Cayman’s Owen Roberts International Airport (GCM). The JFK-to-GCM service marks Delta’s first direct flight from that New York hub in more than ten years.
Cayman Islands officials welcomed the additions, noting the increased airlift boosts the local tourism economy during the peak winter season. No significant market reaction to the announcement has been reported.
