Delta Air Lines has officially launched its expanded seasonal service between Accra, Ghana, and Atlanta. The daily flight was inaugurated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Kotoka International Airport and will operate for six weeks through January 16 to cater to strong travel demand during the peak holiday season. This new route complements Delta's existing year-round daily service from New York-JFK, offering more flexibility for travelers. U.S. and Ghanaian officials lauded the new service, highlighting its significance for economic growth and cultural exchange. Rolf Olson, Chargé d'Affaires at the U.S. Embassy in Ghana, noted the route strengthens the partnership between the two nations. The flights will utilize an Airbus A330-900neo, featuring Delta's various cabin experiences, including Delta One Suites.
