Delta Air Lines will resume its normal flight schedule on January 4, 2026. The resumption covers service to and from 13 airports across the Caribbean.

This decision follows the expiration of an FAA airspace closure directive. The directive was initially implemented in response to U.S. military action in Venezuela.

The airline is actively repositioning resources to restore regular operations. Delta issued a travel waiver for affected customers with flights booked between January 3 and January 6.

No significant market reaction was noted, as the announcement occurred over the weekend.
