Delta Air Lines has announced it is discontinuing two domestic flight routes, affecting services from its hubs in Atlanta (ATL) and Salt Lake City (SLC). The airline will no longer operate flights between Atlanta and Santa Barbara (SBA) or between Salt Lake City and Fairbanks (FAI). The decision to cut these routes was based on performance reviews which indicated that they did not meet the airline's long-term operational expectations. This move is part of Delta's ongoing efforts to align its flight capacity and network with current market demand and profitability targets. Travelers to Fairbanks can still utilize Delta's services from Seattle and Minneapolis.
