Delta Air Lines will continue flight operations in Binghamton, New York. This decision follows a $32 million investment pledge from the state government.

The airline had previously planned to cancel its sole route, which connects Binghamton to Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW), in February 2026. A spokesperson confirmed Delta will restart service after reviewing its fleet allocation strategy.

This announcement precedes the airline’s Q4 and full-year 2025 financial results, scheduled for Tuesday, January 13, 2026. Analysts expect revenue to grow to $15.78 billion. Adjusted earnings are anticipated to be around $1.55 per share.

Separately, Amala Duggirala begins today as the company's new Chief Digital & Technology Officer. This appointment follows the retirement of the previous CIO.
