Delta Air Lines ended its non-stop service between Brussels Airport (BRU) and New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK). The route had operated continuously for 34 years.
The final eastbound flight departed JFK on January 5, 2026. The last westbound flight concluded from Brussels on January 6, 2026.
The discontinuation marks a significant change for transatlantic travelers between Belgium and the U.S. East Coast. Delta will now redirect Brussels travelers through its main hub at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL).
The airline plans to increase the frequency of its Atlanta-Brussels service starting in March 2026. Delta intends to move this ATL-BRU service to daily flights during peak season.
