Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG), the parent of Truth Social, is canceling two agreements with Crypto.com. Interim CEO Kevin McGurn announced the move as part of a strategic shift toward media operations and a pending merger with TAE Technologies.
The terminated ventures included a crypto treasury program using the Cronos (CRO) token and a digital asset services agreement.
McGurn cited saturation in the crypto treasury sector as the primary driver for the decision. The move marks a departure from previous leadership’s expansion into financial services and digital assets.
