Soros Fund Management dramatically increased its investment in Digital Realty (DLR), a major data center operator, during the second quarter of 2026. According to its quarterly 13F filing, the firm boosted its holdings by over 800%, from 57,420 shares to 539,620 shares. This raised the total reported value of the stake to approximately $96.9 million as of the end of June.
It is important to note that 13F filings reflect positions held at the end of a quarter, so this trade occurred between April and June 2026. The move aligns with a broader portfolio adjustment by Soros's firm into AI-related infrastructure, which also included a significant new position in power company American Electric Power. Digital Realty itself reported strong Q2 results, citing robust demand and record bookings, driven in part by the needs of AI technologies.
