Siemens Energy will legally and operationally separate its Transformation of Industry division to create an independent company. This move allows the group to focus on its core power generation and transmission businesses.
The unit generated €5.7 billion in revenue during fiscal year 2025. It employs approximately 17,000 people. The portfolio includes industrial steam turbines, compressors, and hydrogen electrolyzers.
The company plans to deconsolidate the business through a potential stock market listing or by bringing in external investors. Siemens Energy intends to retain a significant minority stake to support the new entity’s development.
