The Ensign Group, Inc. announced the acquisition of operations at 20 healthcare facilities across Colorado, Florida and Washington, effective October 1, 2026. The acquisitions will add a substantial number of skilled nursing beds and independent living units to Ensign’s portfolio.
The listed state breakdown is seven facilities in Colorado, eight in Florida and four in Washington. Those figures total 19, not 20.
The operations are subject to long-term, triple-net lease agreements and will be run by Ensign’s affiliated operators. The transactions deepen Ensign’s presence in existing markets and mark its entry into Florida.
After the transactions, Ensign’s portfolio will include 418 healthcare operations. They will span 18 states. The company continues to seek opportunities to acquire and lease healthcare-related businesses across the United States.
