Ericsson appointed Per Narvinger as its new President and CEO, effective October 1, 2026. Narvinger currently serves as Executive Vice President and Head of Business Area Networks.
He succeeds Börje Ekholm, who is stepping down after leading the company for more than nine years. Narvinger has held senior leadership positions across research, product management, and sales since joining the firm in 1997.
The board characterized the appointment as a well-prepared and orderly succession. Ekholm will remain as an executive advisor until June 15, 2027, to facilitate a smooth transition.
