BlackRock reported a significant reduction in its iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) holdings for the first quarter of 2026. The trust shed approximately 410,750 ETH during the quarter. Total ETHA holdings now stand at roughly 3.06 million units.
The April 15 analysis shows these outflows occurred despite BlackRock’s digital asset suite attracting $935 million in net inflows. The report highlights a divergence in investor activity between the firm's cryptocurrency offerings. The iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) recorded an increase in holdings during the same period.
