ExlService Holdings released its third annual UK Enterprise AI Study. The survey of 212 senior decision-makers found a significant gap between perceived AI progress and actual integration levels. Most UK businesses believe they outperform competitors in AI. However, only 12% report significant company-wide integration and a notable return on investment.
The research indicates that 38% of UK companies have advanced agentic AI beyond the pilot stage. The study also highlights a broader disconnect between AI implementation and achieving substantial business results. Bhupender Singh, EXL's president and head of international growth markets, stated that leaders reimagine businesses to deliver measurable AI outcomes.
