Ford Motor Co. ceased direct operations in South Korea. It closed its local sales subsidiary after three decades.

Ford transitions to a dealer-led import model under the new entity, FL Auto Korea.

Sunin Motor owns FL Auto Korea. Lee Yoon-dong will lead the new entity. He previously worked with Hyundai, BMW, and Audi Volkswagen in Korea.

The company plans to launch four new sport utility vehicles in the Korean market this year. These launches include the Lincoln Nautilus full hybrid. New versions of the Explorer, Expedition, and Lincoln Navigator are also scheduled for release.
