FuelCell Energy and Siemens signed a memorandum of understanding to accelerate fuel cell-based power generation. The collaboration combines FuelCell’s technology with Siemens’ electrical infrastructure expertise to deploy distributed energy systems. Initial projects will focus on commercial applications exceeding 100 megawatts.

Siemens will design and supply electrical balance of plant (EBOP) systems for the installations. The partners will develop integrated solutions featuring battery storage and microgrid controls. These systems specifically target energy-intensive applications such as data centers.

The agreement aims to streamline project deployment and reduce costs for customers. The partnership focuses on enhancing scalability for those transitioning to resilient, lower-emission energy sources.
