Google Cloud and Nokia expanded their partnership to integrate Gemini AI models into the Nokia Assurance Center software suite. The collaboration will develop six specialized AI agents to automate network management and lower operational costs for telecommunications providers.

These agents process complex network data in real-time to distinguish critical problems from minor alerts. Nokia claims the integration can reduce network problem-solving times by 50% to 80%.

The initiative represents a move toward fully autonomous, self-driving networks. The first AI agents are expected to launch by the end of 2026, with rolling updates continuing through 2027.
