This integration includes Gemini 2.5 Flash, Gemini 2.0, and Imagen 4, aimed at improving visual creation and editing for designers. The collaboration is intended to streamline workflows and speed up image generation within the design ecosystem. In early testing, the use of Gemini 2.5 Flash reportedly reduced latency for Figma's 'Make Image' feature by approximately 50%. This move positions Figma to better compete with other design platforms that have also been incorporating advanced AI models.
