Freedom Holding Corp. is exploring a secondary public offering in Hong Kong to finance its global expansion strategy. CEO Timur Turlov confirmed the Kazakhstan-based financial services firm aims to grow beyond its core Central Asian markets.
The expansion plan targets the acquisition or establishment of banking institutions across Europe and Turkey. The company is also evaluating a potential entry into the Pakistani market.
Turlov maintained that the NASDAQ will remain the company’s primary listing. While the Hong Kong secondary listing is under consideration to support growth, the firm has not yet established a specific timeline for the move.
