The global energy landscape is facing unprecedented pressure as Middle East oil product exports experienced a historic decline in March. Total exports from the region plunged by 63%, representing a massive reduction of 4.8 million barrels per day.
Current data shows that total exports have fallen to approximately 2.8 million barrels per day. This sharp contraction signals what is being described as the most significant global energy crisis in history. Of the remaining volume still being exported, approximately 1.1 million barrels per day are currently accounted for in the latest trade data.
