Barrick Gold (NYSE:GOLD) produced 796,000 ounces of gold in the second quarter of 2026. This output exceeded the company’s guidance of 730,000 to 770,000 ounces. Production rose 11% compared to the first quarter. Net earnings reached $1.22 billion, marking a 50% increase year-over-year. Adjusted earnings per share hit $0.82, meeting analyst expectations.

Quarterly revenue totaled $5.29 billion. Operating cash flow increased 28% year-on-year to $1.70 billion. Barrick also signed an agreement with Newmont to expand the Nevada Gold Mines joint venture.

The company maintained its full-year production and cost guidance. Barrick declared a quarterly dividend of $0.175 per share. The firm executed $1.2 billion in share buybacks during the quarter.
