Abbott and Google launched a multi-year partnership to integrate the Lingo biowearable with Google Health AI technology. The collaboration combines continuous glucose monitoring data with Google’s health metrics to provide personalized metabolic insights. Lingo is an over-the-counter device designed for adults who do not use insulin.
Users will track glucose trends within the Google Health app alongside other wellness data. Google’s AI-powered Health Coach will use this information to provide personalized recommendations for nutrition, sleep, and exercise. The companies plan a large-scale research study to inform future AI coaching features and product development.
