Alphabet's Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services (AWS) announced a new jointly developed multicloud networking service. The new offering enables customers to establish private, high-speed links between Google Cloud and AWS in minutes, a process that could previously take weeks. By combining services like AWS's Interconnect-multicloud with Google Cloud's Cross-Cloud Interconnect, the collaboration aims to greatly improve network interoperability for businesses that utilize services from both providers. Salesforce is noted as an early adopter of the new service.
