Google Cloud, an Alphabet subsidiary, expanded its long-standing partnership with Nvidia. Google Cloud became one of the first providers to deploy Nvidia’s latest Blackwell-based AI systems.

This deployment supports advanced enterprise, government, and 'sovereign AI' workloads. Customers gain access to next-generation GPUs for demanding tasks, including large-scale AI models and scientific simulations.

The collaboration emphasizes regulated and security-sensitive sectors. Organizations can now run Google's Gemini AI models on their own premises. This capability utilizes Google Distributed Cloud combined with Nvidia hardware.

The partnership extends beyond core infrastructure to include robotics and drug discovery initiatives. Following the announcement, Alphabet's Class C shares saw a modest gain in after-hours trading.
