Google will launch a major data center project in Andhra Pradesh, India, on April 28, 2026.

The project involves a $15 billion investment. This represents the largest single foreign direct investment in the country.

The plan includes the development of three data center campuses near Visakhapatnam. This expansion aims to establish a 1 GW data center hub.

The project is expected to become Asia's largest data center cluster. Company leadership and local government officials will attend the groundbreaking ceremony.
