The Andhra Pradesh Government is set to sign a significant agreement with Google on October 14 for the establishment of a 1-GW data center in Visakhapatnam. This project is being touted as one of the largest investments by the major tech company in India. The initiative is expected to transform the Port City into a global data hub and significantly support the government's artificial intelligence (AI) objectives. The completion of the data center is targeted for the end of 2029.
