Hyperscale Data subsidiary Omnipresent Robotics began installing OPR-R2 robots at its Michigan AI data center. The first unit was assembled on July 16, 2026. This move initiates a large-scale visual data collection and physical AI training program.

The OPR-R2 robots perform real-world tasks to generate essential data for training advanced AI models. Omnipresent Robotics currently has 143 units on order.

The company is developing a 100,000-square-foot robotics facility to support the initiative. This project is expected to create over 500 jobs within the next three years.

This development serves as a key step in Hyperscale Data’s strategy to transition into an AI infrastructure platform.
