Grab and GoTo slash Indonesian driver fees to 8%, following presidential order

Grab and GoTo will reduce commissions for Indonesian two-wheeled drivers from 20% to 8%. The new commission structure takes effect on July 1, 2026.

Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto first announced the cap on May 1. The presidential regulation aims to improve welfare for online transportation workers.

Company executives confirmed compliance on June 23 after meeting with Indonesia's House of Representatives. The move will increase take-home pay for hundreds of thousands of drivers.
