Cybin Inc., operating as Helus Pharma (Nasdaq: HELP), appointed Michael Halstead as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Halstead previously served as President of Intra-Cellular Therapies.
He managed the development and commercialization of CAPLYTA® during his previous tenure. Halstead also oversaw the $14.6 billion sale of Intra-Cellular Therapies to Johnson & Johnson in 2025.
The leadership change precedes topline data from a pivotal Phase 3 study of HLP003 for Major Depressive Disorder. Cybin expects these results in the fourth quarter of 2026. Halstead will also oversee clinical programs for HLP004, targeting generalized anxiety disorder.
