Brothers Biing-seng and Jordan Wu reached a combined $1 billion net worth. The founders of Taiwanese chipmaker Himax Technologies hold a 24% stake in the firm. U.S.-listed shares of the company more than doubled in value during 2026. Wealth gains also include proceeds from dividends and previous stock sales.

Himax now controls a 40% market share in automotive display driver integrated circuits. The company supplies chips for vehicle screens to Ferrari, Volkswagen, and Porsche. This market position follows a strategic pivot to the automotive sector nearly 20 years ago.
