Hewlett Packard Enterprise built 'DAEDALUS', Greece's most powerful supercomputer. It debuted at number 31 on the TOP500 list of the world's fastest systems.

The installation marks a significant milestone for Greece's research and technology infrastructure. It enhances Greece's position within the European high-performance computing landscape.

The system is an HPE Cray EX4000. It is located at the Lavrion Technological and Cultural Park of the National Technical University of Athens.

The National Infrastructures for Research and Technology (GRNET) will operate the system.

It will support advanced applications in artificial intelligence, climate research, and personalized healthcare for the Greek and European scientific communities.
