HP has appointed Publicis Media as its new global media agency partner, concluding a 17-year relationship with Omnicom Media Group. The media account is valued at approximately $250 million. The decision follows a closed review between the two holding companies conducted earlier this year.
Publicis Media will now oversee media strategy across all global markets. Omnicom’s agency, PHD, had held the account since 2009 and added global digital media operations to its remit in 2017.
HP’s global media spend reached $194 million in 2023, according to data from COMvergence. Digital channels represented 69% of that total expenditure.
