SK Hynix filed an amended F-1 form with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for its planned American Depositary Share offering.
The updated filing discloses a new antitrust class-action lawsuit filed in California. The suit alleges SK Hynix and other memory-chip makers conspired to restrict supply and inflate DRAM prices starting in October 2022.
SK Hynix intends to use the offering proceeds to fund new production facilities in South Korea. The company also plans to purchase advanced extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography scanners.
These capital expenditures will total approximately $7.6 billion through the end of 2027. The company has not yet determined the final pricing or size of the U.S. listing.
