Ethereum spot ETFs outperformed Bitcoin counterparts in capital attraction for the second consecutive week.
BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) recorded $95.5 million in net weekly outflows. The fund experienced two consecutive daily withdrawals exceeding $200 million late in the week.
In contrast, BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) attracted $96.3 million during the same period. IBIT posted an additional $8.82 million outflow on Monday, July 27. This withdrawal represented the largest individual fund exit among U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs for that day.
Bitcoin’s price dropped below $64,000 amid broader risk-off sentiment in Asian markets. These movements indicate a notable shift in institutional investor preference from Bitcoin to Ethereum products.
