IBM announced a collaboration with the Government of Andhra Pradesh, BharatGen, and NxtGen to develop a sovereign AI technology framework. This initiative, known as the Swadeshi AI stack, focuses on creating AI solutions tailored to India’s linguistic and cultural context.
The project aims to enable citizen-centric services in Telugu and other regional languages. IBM will provide strategic technical advice and leverage its expertise in data, AI, hybrid cloud, security, and automation.
The partnership seeks to strengthen innovation, governance, and service delivery across priority sectors in Andhra Pradesh. This collaboration aligns with IBM’s strategy to help partners deploy AI workloads while maintaining full control over data and governance.
