Infineon Technologies AG finalized its €570 million acquisition of ams OSRAM’s non-optical analog/mixed-signal sensor portfolio today. This transaction follows the initial deal announcement from February 2026.
The acquisition strengthens Infineon’s market position across the automotive, industrial, and medical sensor sectors. The acquired business unit expects to generate €230 million in revenue during 2026. Management anticipates the deal will be immediately accretive to earnings per share.
Approximately 230 employees will join Infineon as part of the agreement. Most of these new hires specialize in research and development.
